- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream

- 16 oz fresh spinach (or 10 oz frozen spinach, thawed and drained)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until soft.
- Stir in garlic and flour, cooking for 1 minute to remove the raw flour taste.
- Slowly whisk in milk and heavy cream, stirring until thickened.
- Season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- Add spinach and cook for 3-4 minutes, until wilted and well combined.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Remove from heat and serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh spinach for a vibrant flavor, or frozen spinach for convenience.
- Adjust thickness by adding more milk if needed.
