Description

Quench your thirst this Good Friday or at any spring gathering with this Coconut Citrus Refresher—a tropical, creamy, and hydrating mocktail made from orange juice, coconut water, coconut milk, and a splash of lime. Finished with a pinch of sea salt and served over ice, it’s the perfect balance of tart, sweet, and salty.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh orange juice

  • 1/2 cup coconut water

  • 1/3 cup full-fat coconut milk

  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • Ice cubes

 

  • Orange slices, for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large glass or shaker, combine orange juice, coconut water, coconut milk, and lime juice.

  2. Add a pinch of sea salt and stir or shake well until fully blended.

  3. Fill two glasses with ice cubes.

  4. Pour the citrus coconut mixture evenly over the ice.

  5. Garnish each glass with a slice of fresh orange. Serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra-cold version, shake with ice before pouring. Add a dash of honey or agave for extra sweetness if desired. This also makes a great base for smoothies.
