- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons bourbon (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish. Sprinkle the pecans and chocolate chips evenly over the bottom.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, bourbon, and vanilla extract.
- Stir in the flour and salt until just combined.
- Pour the filling over the pecans and chocolate chips.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.

- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the bourbon or replace it with an equal amount of milk.
