- 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 large eggs
Mix-Ins and Toppings (Optional):
- 1 cup M&Ms
- Peppermint bark squares, chopped
- Chocolate chips
- Toffee bits
- Crushed candy canes
- Chopped pecans
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or leave it ungreased.
2. Prepare the Dough
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, vegetable oil, vanilla, and eggs.
- Mix until a thick dough forms.
3. Add the Mix-Ins
- Gently fold in the M&Ms (and any additional toppings) until evenly distributed.
4. Shape the Cookies
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls.
- Place them about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Bake
- Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops are slightly cracked.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
