Description

These Cheeseburger Quesadillas are a delicious fusion of classic cheeseburger flavors and crispy, cheesy quesadillas. Packed with savory ground beef, melted cheddar, and a hint of ketchup and mustard, they make the perfect weeknight dinner, game-day snack, or kid-friendly meal. Quick, easy, and incredibly satisfying!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1/4 cup ketchup

  • 1 tablespoon mustard

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese

  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes or pickles (optional)

  • 4 large flour tortillas

  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil, for greasing the skillet

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.

  2. Stir in ketchup and mustard. Mix thoroughly and remove from heat.

  3. Lay out tortillas. On one half of each, sprinkle a layer of cheese, spoon on the beef mixture, add tomatoes or pickles (if using), and top with more cheese. Fold tortillas in half.

  4. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook each quesadilla for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  5. Slice into wedges and serve hot with dipping sauces like ketchup, burger sauce, or ranch.

Notes

  • You can swap in ground turkey or chicken for a leaner version.

  • Add a bit of sautéed onion or bacon bits for extra burger flavor.

  • Great for using leftover taco meat or burger patties!
