Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs (such as parsley, chives, or thyme), chopped
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat & Prepare

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease or line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.

2️⃣ Mix the Dry Ingredients

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and fresh herbs.
  2. Stir in the cheddar and Parmesan cheese.

3️⃣ Mix the Wet Ingredients

  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, milk, and melted butter.

4️⃣ Combine & Bake

  1. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined (do not overmix).
  2. Spoon the batter evenly into the muffin tin.
  3. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
