Description

This Caprese Pasta Salad is a fresh, vibrant, and Italian-inspired dish that combines al dente pasta, juicy cherry tomatoes, creamy mozzarella balls, and fragrant basil. Tossed with olive oil, balsamic glaze, and a hint of spice, it’s the perfect light meal or side for summer gatherings, picnics, or weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked rotini pasta (or any short pasta)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

 

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and allow to cool.
  • In a large bowl, mix cooled pasta with cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and chopped basil.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  • Season with garlic powder, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper.
  • Toss gently to combine all ingredients.

 

  • Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes to blend flavors.
