Description

Crispy, golden-brown chicken wings tossed in a tangy, spicy buffalo sauce—perfect for game day or a flavorful snack!

Ingredients

Units Scale
For the Wings:
  • 2 lbs chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
For the Buffalo Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot recommended)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.
    • In a large bowl, toss chicken wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
    • Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 45-50 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden brown.
    • While the wings bake, prepare the buffalo sauce by whisking together hot sauce, melted butter, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.
    • Remove wings from the oven and toss them in the buffalo sauce until fully coated.
    • Serve immediately with celery, carrots, and ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, let them rest uncovered in the fridge for at least 1 hour before baking.
  • Want spicier wings? Add a pinch of cayenne to the buffalo sauce.
  • Prefer fried wings? Deep fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes instead of baking.
