For the Wings:
- 2 lbs chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
For the Buffalo Sauce:
- 1/2 cup hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot recommended)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
-
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.
- In a large bowl, toss chicken wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 45-50 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden brown.
- While the wings bake, prepare the buffalo sauce by whisking together hot sauce, melted butter, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.
- Remove wings from the oven and toss them in the buffalo sauce until fully coated.
- Serve immediately with celery, carrots, and ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, let them rest uncovered in the fridge for at least 1 hour before baking.
- Want spicier wings? Add a pinch of cayenne to the buffalo sauce.
- Prefer fried wings? Deep fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes instead of baking.
