Description

Blackberry Tiramisu Delight is a fruity twist on the classic tiramisu, featuring layers of blackberry-soaked ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone filling, and a whipped blackberry topping. This vibrant no-bake blackberry dessert is a showstopper perfect for summer parties, high tea, or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • Base & Syrup:

    • 1 package ladyfinger biscuits (savoiardi)

    • 2 cups fresh blackberries (plus more for garnish)

    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

    • 2 tbsp lemon juice

    • 2 tbsp water

    • 1 tbsp blackberry liqueur (optional)

  • Mascarpone Cream Layer:

    • 1 cup mascarpone cheese, cold

    • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

    • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, cold

  • Whipped Blackberry Topping:

    • 1/2 cup blackberry puree (strained)

    • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

    • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Make the Blackberry Syrup:
In a saucepan, combine blackberries, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and water. Simmer for 10 minutes until berries break down. Blend and strain to remove seeds. Stir in blackberry liqueur if using. Let cool.

  2. Prepare the Mascarpone Cream:
In a bowl, beat mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks. Gently fold into mascarpone mixture until creamy and airy.

  3. Assemble the Layers:
Quickly dip ladyfingers into blackberry syrup and layer them in an 8×8 inch dish.
Spread half the mascarpone cream on top. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining cream.

  4. Make the Blackberry Topping:
Whip cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Gently fold in strained blackberry puree until smooth.
Pipe or spread over the top layer of tiramisu.

  5. Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight. Garnish with fresh blackberries before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra floral twist, add a splash of elderflower liqueur or rose water to the syrup.

  • Can be made 1–2 days in advance—perfect for entertaining.
