Ingredients

For the Pancakes:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 1/4 cups buttermilk

  • 1 large egg

  • 3 tbsp melted butter (plus more for the pan)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Chocolate Drizzle:

  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

  • 2 tsp coconut oil or butter (1 tsp per bowl)

To Serve:

  • Whipped cream

  • Fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, grapes

  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Make Pancake Batter: In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.

  2. Cook Pancakes: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly butter it. Pour ¼ cup batter for each pancake and cook 2–3 minutes until bubbles form. Flip and cook another 1–2 minutes. Repeat.

  3. Prepare Chocolate Drizzle: Melt milk and white chocolate chips separately with 1 tsp coconut oil or butter each in the microwave, stirring until smooth.

  4. Drizzle & Design: Stack pancakes on a plate. Drizzle both chocolates in a zigzag pattern. Use a toothpick or skewer to create marbled designs.

  5. Serve: Top with whipped cream and a mix of fresh berries and grapes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Don’t overmix the batter to keep the pancakes fluffy. The chocolate drizzle can be customized with dark chocolate or colored white chocolate for themed brunches.
