Description

These Air-Fried Ham and Cheese Biscuit Bombs are a quick and fun snack or meal! Made with flaky biscuits, smoky ham, and melty Colby jack cheese, these golden treats are kid-approved and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Meat:

  • 6 slices smoked ham

Bread & Baked Goods:

  • 1 can Pillsbury Grand Flaky Biscuits

Dairy:

  • 6 slices Colby jack cheese

Refrigerated:

  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Baking & Spices:

  • Spices (optional, e.g., garlic powder, paprika, or Italian seasoning for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Biscuits:
    • Open the can of Pillsbury biscuits and separate them into individual pieces. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands or a rolling pin.
  2. Assemble the Bombs:
    • Place one slice of ham and one slice of Colby jack cheese in the center of each biscuit. Fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the filling, pinching the seams to seal and form a ball.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  4. Add the Egg Wash:
    • Brush each biscuit bomb with the beaten egg to help them achieve a golden, crispy exterior. Sprinkle with your choice of spices, if desired.
  5. Air Fry the Biscuit Bombs:
    • Place the biscuit bombs in the air fryer basket, seam side down, making sure they are not touching. Cook in batches if needed. Air fry at 350°F for 8–10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve:
    • Let the biscuit bombs cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm as a snack, lunch, or appetizer!

Notes

  • Add Variety: Substitute ham with turkey, bacon, or your favorite deli meat. Use different cheeses like cheddar, Swiss, or pepper jack for a flavor twist.
  • Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 325°F for 3–5 minutes.
  • Oven Option: Bake at 375°F for 12–15 minutes if you don’t have an air fryer.
